Edo Japan has signed a lease to open in the Atrium Cafes on 3 food court.  Edo serves fresh and healthy Japanese food cooked on a Teppan style grill.  The new restaurant will be designed around the company’s new contemporary concept, with soft colors, woods, tiles and other natural products.   

Edo is expected to open mid-fall and employ about eight people.  It operates three other Spokane locations, downtown, on the north side and in the Spokane Valley.  

“River Park Square is the place to be in downtown,” said Kevin Johnson, Edo regional franchisor.  “It is the retail center people gravitate toward.”

According to River Park Square mall manger, Bob Smith, “Edo Japan will add another type of menu that will continue to expand the unique mix of dining retailers at River Park Square.”

River Park Square and the Children’s Museum of Spokane jointly announced today they have signed a lease that will allow the interactive, hands-on museum to nearly double its size and move to the downtown retail center.
